Updated Information and Requirements for 2015
The Association’s calendar year is February 1 through January 31.
The Bluegrass Cross Connection Prevention Association (BGCCPA) annual tester fees are $66. Discounts are not authorized. A late fee of $10 will be applied if fees are not received by February 1. If fees are not received by March 1, your certification with BGCCPA will no longer be valid, and your name will be removed from the Association’s list of Certified Testers. A 40-hour Backflow Prevention Tester certification class will be required to become a Certified Tester of the Association.
The Bluegrass Cross Connection Association requires payment of annual fees, and a total of 6 hours of annual continuing education to maintain certification as a tester. The Association offers a total of 14 hours throughout the year. There are four evening classes offering two credit hours each. The Association also offers an all-day conference that offers six credit hours. Continuing education hours must be earned within the calendar year. Hours earned within one calendar year cannot be applied to a previous year.
Registration for all classes is required. Registration is due by the date listed on the training notice. The Association must have an accurate count for the venue to prepare the meal.
The Bluegrass Cross Connection Prevention Association will no longer submit training hours for other required licenses, such as required by DOW.
